Vision Projects are pleased to reveal images of a project completed in Redditch for Seafresh Industry Invest who are a major food manufacturer and distributor. The first phase of the project worth £100,000, was completed in 6 weeks over the summer of 2013.
The brief was to refurbish a two story office covering 480m2. Vision wanted to make a statement with the design to visitors, clients and employees that SI are a modern, progressive and professional organisation. Their emphasis was on creating the right impression through the choice of furniture, fittings, colour and space. Our sales team were able to take the client to London to visit the show rooms of two of our largest furniture suppliers; Orangebox and Herman Miller.
Herman Miller’s new Stem system was selected for the open plan office area due to its stylish form and the innovative way it combines storage and desking into one neat package. This is one of the first examples in the UK of Stem being used. The meeting and boardroom tables were supplied courtesy of Orangebox with the Pars range fulfilling the brief for a contemporary and quality solution that was available in a wide range of shapes and sizes to bring consistency across all the meeting spaces. The Herman Miller Sayl chair was selected in a mix of both upholstered and suspension back in a vivid lime green which added a sense of individuality and style to the office environment.
The reception area called for a bespoke joinery unit to display the clients unique branding and image. This was complimented with the Vale modular range from Orangebox which allowed a seating solution to fit the space perfectly. A frosted vinyl manifestation of a world map subtly highlighted to visitors and clients Seafresh industries global presence.
Other works included the construction of management offices and meeting rooms as well as the installation of two kitchenettes. Each space was completed using System 8000 full height glazed partitioning and new ceiling. Carpet tiles from the Interface straightforward range were used in corporate colours; the addition of coloured tiles amongst the grey were used to denote walkways in a simple yet effective way to add an attractive and practical feature at no extra cost.
After the successful completion of the initial contract Vision are currently on site to extend the office space into new parts of the building. The same design themes continue into the new areas with the same style of Stem desking and interface carpet scheme.
