Vision Projects have enjoyed a strong continued partnership with Stephensons College for many years helping to improve and maintain the facilities at the Coalville campus.
With the college thriving and the continued popularity of the beauty and hairdressing courses a new venture was planned for the end of 2013 to create a new Salon in Nottingham in Partnership with Lee Stafford Academies.
Following the successful launch of the Lee Stafford academy in Chelmsford, Stephensons College were keen to create a partnership of their own in association with Lee Stafford where budding hair stylists and beauty technicians could learn and develop industry skills at an outstanding urban venue.
With the iconic Lee Stafford name and branding behind them Stephensons selected an old School uniform shop on Maid Marion Way as the ideal location to open a new Beauty School. The central location meant the students could experience first-hand what it was like to work in a busy professional salon.
Vision Projects helped to develop the Lee Stafford branding into a feasible interior concept with the academy at Chelmsford influencing the design direction. With a bold vision for a contemporary and quirky design encompassing a garden of colour and the shocking bubble-gum pink colour scheme, work commenced early November and was finished just before Christmas.
Unlike most fit out’s, the vision for the space left a lot of the mechanical and electrical installation exposed creating a raw urban vibe complimented with modern lighting and fittings.
