The Embody chair has been built with a Pixelated Support design that gives the user a weightless, floating sensation whilst keeping you supported and comfortable in every position. The chair distributes your weight evenly, reducing pressure on your body but also allowing you to move easily and keeping you focused.
Design
The functions and mechanics of the Embody chair have been built into the aesthetics to show off and celebrate its health-positive design. The Embody chair adjusts with the micro-movements of your body, automatically moving with you to keep you supported in any position.
Quality
The combination of the materials used within the the Embody office chair keeps the chair well ventilated keeping you cool throughout your working day. The Embody also benefits from BackFit adjustment options helping to maintain balance and correct posture whilst also helping circulation.
The Embody Design Story
Designer Bill Stumpf, who has worked for Herman Miller for more than 30 years teamed up with Jeff Weber to create the Embody chair range.
With empathy for workers spending long hours in front of a computer, the pair wanted to create a chair that didn't just minimise the negative effects of sitting but went a step further to have positive effect on the body whilst being easy to use and allow comfortable movement.
The technology behind the chair was inspired by more than 20 experts including physicians and physical therapists, ergonomics and Drs of bio-mechanics.
