Performance
The combination of the Kinematic Spine and the Lyris 2 elastomeric material used for the Setu range creates a strong, durable, eco-friendly chair with a simplistic, sleek design. The Kinematic Spine uses two types of polypropylene to maintain extreme support and flexibility while the Lyris 2 material forms the all in one seat and back. This material will adjust naturally and comfortably when you move making it beneficial for easy seated movement.
Customisable
The Setu chair has been created to fit within more informal workspaces or businesses. Available in a wide range of upholstered materials the Setu range can be customised to suit you and your work area.
Design
The Setu range has been designed to be extremely functional whilst using less material. The selective materials that have been used offer great support and comfort. The designers behind the range, Studio 7.5, wanted each element to be beneficial and eco-friendly. The H-Alloy base has been made with an anti-corrosive aluminum and by keeping it uncoated is it highly eco-friendly.
The Setu Design Story
Claudia Plikat, Burkhard Schmitz, Carola Zwick and engineer Roland Zwick are the people behind Studio 7.5 and the collective minds behind the Setu range. They designed the chair after a considerable amount of observation - they observed the ways in which we work, how we move around our workspaces and how we work with and around technology.
The Setu chair has been shaped by the environment around us and how we work now, to offer the support we need rather than being shaped to suit the environment we’re in.
